Realme has started teasing the launch of its upcoming Realme 16 5G for the Indian market. While the official launch date remains unconfirmed, the smartphone is widely expected to debut in the first week of April.
Ahead of its release, the company has revealed several key features.
A dedicated product page is already live on Flipkart, confirming its online availability.
According to the Flipkart microsite, the Realme 16 5G will feature a 6.57-inch display. The handset is teased to be just 8.1mm thin, offering a sleek and modern design. It will be available in two colour options—Air White and Air Black—targeting style-conscious users.
One of the standout features of the device is what Realme calls India’s first ‘Selfie Mirror Phone’.
The smartphone will include a reflective mirror integrated into the rear camera module, allowing users to take high-quality selfies using the rear camera setup.
The device is also expected to include a portrait sensor, although full camera specifications have not yet been disclosed.
Realme has confirmed that the device will house a massive 7,000mAh battery, branded as a ‘titan battery’, which is claimed to offer up to two days of usage on a single charge.
Additionally, the Realme 16 5G will come with an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, enhancing its durability.
The company has also promised six years of fluency protection, indicating long-term performance optimisation.
In a press statement, Realme emphasised that the device reflects its commitment to innovation, particularly for younger users, by combining design and camera advancements to elevate the smartphone experience.
With a strong focus on battery life, durability, and unique design elements, the Realme 16 5G is shaping up to be a notable addition to the brand’s 16 Series portfolio.
Further details, including pricing and full specifications, are expected to be revealed at launch.
