IPL 2026: Jofra Archer Stars As Rajasthan Royals Seal Playoff Spot

Rajasthan Royals sealed a crucial 30-run win over Mumbai Indians in a decisive Indian Premier League 2026 clash at Wankhede Stadium. Jofra Archer produced a complete performance, influencing the match with both bat and ball.

Rajasthan Royals rebuilt their innings effectively after early setbacks to reach 205/8. Archer accelerated the scoring with a quick 32 off 15 deliveries, lifting the team from a vulnerable position.

Dhruv Jurel contributed a composed 38, while Dasun Shanaka added a rapid 29 to keep the innings on track.

Archer struck immediately with the ball, removing Rohit Sharma without scoring and dismissing Naman Dhir soon after.

Mumbai Indians struggled in the power play, slipping to 38/4 and losing early control of the chase.

Rajasthan Royals ended the league stage with 16 points from 14 matches, securing the fourth playoff spot. They will now take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator.

Despite losing Yashasvi Jaiswal, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, and skipper Riyan Parag early, the Royals’ middle and lower order stepped up. Ravindra Jadeja added useful runs towards the end to push the total past 200.
