Veer Bal Diwas: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the program organized at Major Dhyanchand Stadium on the occasion of ‘Veer Bal Diwas’. During this, PM Modi said that Martyr’s Week and Veer Bal Diwas are definitely full of emotions for our Sikh tradition, but infinite inspiration like the sky is attached to it. Veer Bal Diwas will remind us that age does not matter at the height of bravery. It will remind what is the contribution of ten gurus.
Prime Minister Modi said in the Veer Bal Diwas program that this past is not thousands of years old. All this happened only 3 centuries ago on the soil of this country. On the one hand, the Mughal Sultanate blind in religious bigotry and in that bigotry and on the other hand, our Guru, who is engrossed in knowledge and penance, is the tradition of living the ancient human values of India.
Veer Bal Diwas: Guru Gobind Singh ji stood like a mountain against Aurangzeb – PM Modi
He said that in the name of history, we were told and taught those fabricated narratives, which created an inferiority complex in us. But our traditions kept these stories of glory alive. If we have to take India to the heights of success in future, then we have to break free from the narrow views of the past. PM Modi said that Guru Gobind Singh ji stood like a mountain against Aurangzeb’s plans to change India against his terror. But what enmity could Aurangzeb have with young boys like Zorawar and Fateh Singh Sahib? Why was the cruelty done like hanging two innocent children alive in the wall?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Aurangzeb and his people wanted to convert the religion of Guru Gobind Singh’s children on the basis of sword. He said that a nation is identified by its ideals, values and principles. We have seen in history that when the values of a nation change, its future also changes in no time. These values are preserved when our past ideals are clear to the present generation.
