Enters the ‘Kharge’ : The final Sonia choice in the prez polls

Congress and its presidential poll is making headlines now a days. With full of surprises the scenario has a new entry today – this is Mallikarjun Kharge.

Obviously this seems to be a Sonia Gandhi choice, more importantly this appears to be the final face for the upcoming President of Congress.

Undoubtedly, this is Congress’ official choice. One of the senior leaders of Congress who has been closely working with Sonia Gandhi. Before yesterday there was no speculation of any other candidature for the October 17 election. But after the breaking news of Mallikarjun Kharge’s last minute entry, the picture is quite clear.

Kharge is going to file his nomination today who is going to be third candidate for the Congress election alongside Digvijaya Singh and Shashi Tharoor.

In accordance with the Congress party’s ‘one person one post’ rule, Mallikarjun Kharge as the candidate backed by the party high command will be resiging from his current positon of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha.
