Agni-5 Missile: Testing Of India’s ‘Brahmastra’ Of Tawang Clash, Reaching Not Only Beijing But Half The World

Agni-5 Missile: India’s most powerful missile Agni-5 (Agni-5 ICBM) was successfully tested amid skirmishes with Chinese troops in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. For the first time the missile was fired in its full range. This missile destroyed its target by going 5500 kilometers away. It has been jointly built by DRDO and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL). The special thing is that the range of this missile is so much that many countries including China-Pakistan fear that their entire area is in its JD.

Missile can cover a distance of 8.16 kilometers in one second

This testing has proved the ability to increase the range of Agni-5 missile if needed. The weight of Agni-5 missile is 50 thousand kg and it is 17.5 meters long. Its diameter is 2 meters. A nuclear weapon weighing 1500 kg can be fitted on top of this missile. It has three stage rocket boosters that fly with solid fuel. Its speed is 24 times more than the speed of sound. Or in other words, it can cover a distance of 8.16 kilometers in a second.
