Dr Rajeshwar Singh, BJP senior leader and MLA from Sarojini Nagar, met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday to extend Diwali greetings and present a detailed policy note aimed at advancing Uttar Pradesh’s development.
The note proposed the formation of a high-level Capital Development Review Committee to transform Lucknow into India’s most sustainable, smart, and green capital.
Dr Singh also advocated for the establishment of a State Welfare Fund and urged the review of pending development projects in Sarojini Nagar to accelerate public welfare initiatives.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed all proposals with a positive outlook and assured Dr Singh of his continued guidance and support.
Praising the CM’s foresight, policymaking acumen, and dedication to the state, Dr Singh highlighted that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a model for governance, security, and rapid development at both national and international levels.
Dr Singh expressed confidence that the establishment of the proposed committee and fund would inject new momentum into the development of Lucknow and the broader state. He emphasised that the timely execution of all schemes would be ensured, keeping citizens’ welfare and progress at the forefront.
The meeting underscored the significant improvements in Uttar Pradesh’s image due to the Chief Minister’s leadership and the effective implementation of policies.
Dr Singh noted that the state now stands out as an exemplar of good governance, public safety, and accelerated development.
With a focus on sustainable urbanisation, smart infrastructure, and citizen-centric policies, the leadership aims to turn Lucknow into a benchmark for other cities.
The positive engagement signals that under Yogi Adityanath’s guidance, Uttar Pradesh’s growth trajectory continues steadily, making the state a shining example of excellence in administration, governance, and development across all sectors.
