Yogi Adityanath Flags Off ‘Bharat Shaurya Tiranga Yatra’, Slams Pakistan As Terror Haven

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the ‘Bharat Shaurya Tiranga Yatra’ on Wednesday, hailing India’s military and criticising Pakistan as a failed state. He praised the armed forces for targeting terror hubs through Operation Sindoor, conducted after the April 22 Pahalgam attack.

He called the yatra a tribute to the military and a celebration of national pride. Addressing a massive gathering, Adityanath said the people’s support reflects the unity behind the army and the government during Operation Sindoor.

He declared that Pakistan has only nurtured terrorism for 70 to 75 years and is now hollow from within. “The world has seen state funerals for terrorists, with political and military leaders attending. Terrorism will ultimately consume Pakistan itself,” he warned.

Adityanath said India could not ignore the Pahalgam attack, which targeted tourists in Baisaran meadows. The operation saw over 100 terrorists and their protectors captured on its first day. “The world watched India’s strength on land, air, and sea. We don’t provoke, but if provoked, we retaliate without mercy,” he asserted.

He said the tricolour represents India’s pride, courage, and honour. The yatra, he noted, is a way to thank the military and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their resolve in adversity. He credited Modi’s “Nation First” policy as a guiding principle for India’s progress.

“When 140 crore Indians put the nation first, no power in the world can match India. If each citizen works in this spirit, a strong and developed nation is certain,” Adityanath added.

BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, and several MPs and MLCs also attended the rally.
