Varanasi: PM Narendra Modi To Kickstart Election Campaign With Grand Roadshow

Varanasi is all geared up to welcome PM Narendra Modi for a grand roadshow slated on Monday. The event marks a significant milestone as PM Modi prepares to file his nomination papers for a third consecutive term.

The five-kilometer roadshow will commence at the BHU gate. The Prime Minister will pay tribute to the statue of BHU founder Mahamana Pt Madan Mohan Malviya. The roadshow will conclude at Gate Number 4 of Kashi Vishwanath Dham.

This ceremonial display amidst the hustle of the ongoing Lok Sabha election campaign is poised to invigorate the spirits of attendees.

Commencing from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) gate, the route symbolically begins with Prime Minister Modi garlanding a statue of the revered BHU founder, Mahamana Pt Madan Mohan Malviya.

The procession will culminate at Gate Number 4 of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham, a sacred site steeped in religious significance.

District Administration Implements Vigilant Measures:

To ensure the smooth execution of the event, the district administration has implemented stringent security measures. The administration has underscored the importance of maintaining order and safety during such high-profile gatherings.

The enthusiasm surrounding the roadshow is palpable. BJP supporters are flocking from neighboring districts of UP to extend their support to Prime Minister Modi.

Following the roadshow, Prime Minister Modi will offer prayers at the revered Kashi Vishwanath temple.

The political momentum will peak on Tuesday at 11:40 AM when Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to officially file his nomination papers.

Before this pivotal moment, he will pay homage at the Kaal Bhairav temple, underscoring the deeply rooted cultural and spiritual fabric of Varanasi.

As the political landscape intensifies in the lead-up to the elections, PM Modi’s presence in Varanasi not only underscores the strategic significance of the region. It also reaffirms the enduring connection between politics and spirituality in the Indian electoral landscape.
