On Saturday, a 19-year-old youngster who was attending a program for the resolution of land-related conflicts reportedly attempted suicide by cutting himself with a knife in front of senior police and administrative authorities. According to authorities, police stopped him on the scene and transported him to the hospital.
According to police, Manoj Gond, a Pindhara village resident, attended the ‘Sampurna Samadhan Diwas’ at the Baansdeeh tehsil with his mother. All Uttar Pradesh sub-divisions observe ‘Sampurna Samadhan Diwas’ to address people’s problems on the spot. According to authorities, the teenager vowed to commit suicide if he did not “get justice this time.” Gond stabbed himself before authorities could intervene.
SHO in charge Swatantra Kumar Singh stated that the police officers present on the scene apprehended Gond and sent him to the Community Health Centre in Bansdeeh for treatment.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar stated that Gond’s land dispute had been handled, but he did not accept the compromise. District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar stated that he has directed the deputy district magistrate and DSP to visit the location and handle the issue.
