2 Killed In Roof Collapse Incident In UP and Nine People Injured

Bahraich: Two workers were killed and nine people injured when a recently completed roof of a resort in this city fell, according to authorities on Saturday. According to Bahraich Superintendent of Police (SP) Vrinda Shukla, the event occurred on Friday late night when construction at the resort was underway. Eleven wounded laborers were brought to a neighboring hospital, where Saleem (29) and Jogendra (24) were pronounced dead, according to SP.

The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was summoned to guarantee that no one was buried beneath the rubble, she added. A complaint has been filed against the resort’s owner and contractor. The SP further stated that further inquiry is being conducted.
