Bahraich: Police reported on Thursday that a 22-year-old man was beaten to death during an altercation at a wedding celebration. The incident occurred Tuesday late night, according to authorities. Sonu Arya, a Ram Gaon village inhabitant, had traveled to Bahraich to attend the wedding. According to investigators, he got into an altercation with a member of the bride’s family and was hit with sticks. Arya suffered critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he died during treatment, according to authorities. They indicated a case had been filed.
