UP International Trade Show: PM Modi To Launch Third Edition In Greater Noida

On Thursday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Greater Noida to unveil the third Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show, designed to attract investment and highlight the state’s industrial strengths.

Officials from the district administration and police confirmed on Wednesday that comprehensive arrangements have been finalised for the Prime Minister’s arrival.

Noida Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh stated that they have implemented a four-layered security framework and are conducting stringent checks at district entry points to prevent lapses.

She added that over 5,000 personnel, including traffic units, women officers, intelligence teams, special commandos, and paramilitary forces, will secure the event.

The Expo Mart complex, which will host the event, remains under strict surveillance, with CCTV coverage and drones ensuring round-the-clock monitoring.

Officials have introduced traffic diversions to prevent gridlock and created designated parking zones for attendees.

The exhibition, aligned with the government’s Make in India, Vocal for Local, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, is likely to draw participation not only from all districts of Uttar Pradesh but also from major industrial players and entrepreneurs nationwide.

Organisers believe the five-day trade fair will stimulate investment, generate employment, and further strengthen the state’s industrial standing.

This year’s edition will likely be the largest yet, featuring thousands of exhibitors, international buyers, industry leaders, policymakers, and business representatives.

Running until 29 September, the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show will focus on presenting the state’s expanding manufacturing base and investment potential.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister will visit Banswara in Rajasthan to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development projects totalling Rs 1.08 lakh crore.

Among the highlights will be the launch of the 2,800 MW Mahi Banswara Nuclear Power Project, regarded as a significant step towards strengthening India’s energy infrastructure.
