Union Minister Pralhad Joshi Takes Sacred Dip At Triveni Sangam During Maha Kumbh

Union Minister for Food, Public Distribution, and Consumer Affairs, Pralhad Joshi, along with his family, took a spiritual dip in the sacred waters of the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Tuesday. The Minister participated in the ritual bath, chanting mantras and offering prayers for global prosperity.

After immersing himself in the holy waters, Joshi, accompanied by his wife Jyoti Joshi, daughters Arpita, Ananya, and Anusha Joshi, his brother Govind Joshi, and his wife Kamala Joshi, as well as their children and grandchildren, visited two prominent temples. The family offered special prayers at the Bhagwan Hanuman temple and the revered Akshayavat.

Minister Joshi Reflects On His Spiritual Experience

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Minister Joshi shared his profound experience at the Maha Kumbh Mela. He expressed his joy, saying, “The Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela is a grand collective pilgrimage of Hinduism, successfully conducted with great devotion. It is our great fortune to have had the golden opportunity to take a sacred dip with our family at the Triveni Sangam. This is a deeply significant and divine moment of devotion for us.”

Minister Joshi further explained that the Maha Kumbh provides a transformative spiritual experience. He emphasized that the holy dip symbolizes immense success, faith, and cultural heritage, connecting millions of devotees to the shared spiritual traditions of India.

The Minister also praised the outstanding arrangements at the Maha Kumbh, attributing the success to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the meticulous planning of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Responding To Criticism: A Symbol Of Sanatan Hindu Dharma’s Power

Addressing the criticisms regarding inadequate arrangements, Joshi remarked, “Those who think negatively will always react in that manner. However, this sacred place is brimming with positive energy. The Maha Kumbh has showcased the immense power of Sanatan Hindu Dharma.”

The Maha Kumbh, one of the largest religious festivals in the world, continues to be a phenomenal success, with participation from millions of saints, sages, and devotees. The event represents a supreme spiritual gathering for Hinduism, marked by peace, discipline, and deep devotion, as exemplified by the wholehearted participation of Minister Joshi and his family.
