Under PM Modi’s Leadership, India Advances Towards Self-Reliant Bharat: Haryana Chief Minister

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday said that under the leadership of PM Modi, India is progressing rapidly towards the goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

He emphasised that this national resolve places greater responsibility on sectors linked to rural livelihoods, especially animal husbandry.

CM Saini addressed the gathering on the third day of the 41st state-level Livestock Exhibition in Kurukshetra. He said animal husbandry offers vast untapped potential.

Saini pointed to opportunities in milk production, value addition, exports, and start-up innovation.

He added that the Haryana government aims to transform the sector into a modern, profitable, and sustainable industry.

CM Saini said the state has focused on expanding animal health services to every village.

He noted that this outreach supports farmers directly and strengthens rural incomes.

He stressed that these efforts align closely with PM Modi’s vision of inclusive growth and self-reliance.

Strengthening Rural Livelihoods

During the event, the Chief Minister toured the exhibition grounds. He examined different livestock breeds and interacted with farmers from across the state.

He also witnessed the presentation of high-quality animal breeds showcased on a specially designed catwalk at the fair.

CM Saini honoured livestock farmers who achieved top positions in multiple categories.

He presented awards in recognition of their contribution to improving breeding standards and productivity.

CM Saini said the three-day exhibition reflects rural heritage and livestock traditions.

He added that it also mirrors India’s progress towards Atmanirbhar Bharat under PM Modi.

Nayab Singh Saini said Kurukshetra, known for its message of duty and balance, now also symbolises progress in livestock development and rural prosperity.

He added that the exhibition created a shared platform for livestock farmers, agriculturists, scientists, youth, and entrepreneurs.

This interaction, he said, promotes innovation and knowledge exchange.

CM Saini stated that animal husbandry is not merely an income source but the backbone of the rural economy.

He said Haryana’s identity rests on committed farmers, advanced livestock breeds, and scientific practices.

Saini concluded by noting that milk products, bio-energy, organic manure, and rural employment depend heavily on this sector. He said healthy livestock and prosperous farmers strengthen villages across the state.

CM Nayab Singh Saini added that empowered villages form the foundation of Viksit Bharat and Viksit Haryana under PM Modi’s leadership.
