Road accidents in the region’s mountainous districts, including Doda, Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban, Reasi, Kishtwar, and Udhampur, are often linked to factors such as excessive speed, overloading, poor road conditions, and negligent driving.
In response, traffic authorities have deployed special enforcement teams to monitor violations and improve road safety in these vulnerable areas.
