The two-year training of the officers of Assistant Forest Conservators 2017 and 2018 selected by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission was completed on April 10. The 28th batch was undergoing training at the Central Academy State Forest Service, Coimbatore from April 11, 2022, to April 10, 2024.
In this, 13 trainees from Uttar Pradesh and 38 trainees from Uttarakhand were receiving training. 10 male and 3 female trainees participated in the traineeship from Uttar Pradesh. The convocation was presided over by Directorate Forest Education Anurag Bhardwaj, the chief guest was Uttarakhand Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Chairman of Biodiversity Board Dhananjay Mohan. In the convocation ceremony, Priyanka Sundali of Uttarakhand got the gold medal and Veena Tiwari of Uttar Pradesh got the silver medal for the best performance in the subject of Ecology.
Principal of the Academy, Thiruvakankarasu along with Course Director Anees Kalkoor thanked the officers present and extended best wishes to the new officers. Passed officers will be appointed as Sub Divisional Forest Officers.
