Tensions Emerge As RSS Criticizes BJP Leadership Post Elections

In the aftermath of the recent Lok Sabha elections, tensions have surfaced within the Sangh Parivar as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a key ideological parent of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has indirectly criticized the BJP leadership.

This development comes in light of the defeat of BJP candidate Lallu Singh from the Faizabad parliamentary seat, which has reignited discussions surrounding Ayodhya and Lord Shri Ram.

Jagadguru Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Criticizes Baseless Post-Elections Statements About Ayodhya

Jagadguru Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati, a senior member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthkshetra Trust, expressed dismay over people making baseless statements about Ayodhya post-elections.

In a press statement, he emphasized that Lord Shri Ram is not a political tool to secure votes.

He stated, “Lord Ram and Ayodhya are the centers of faith and devotion, belonging to all. Making baseless comments on them is not only against religion but also against the nation.”

Addressing the media, Jagadguru Swami Vasudevanand further commented on the electoral dynamics.

He asserted, “Those who have served Shri Ram will always receive his blessings. The belief that Ram bhakts have lost elections is a misconception.”

He pointed to the construction of the Ram Mandir as a testament to the enduring spirit of Ram bhakts.

Turning his attention to the RSS without naming it directly, Jagadguru Swami Vasudevanand cautioned against making irresponsible remarks that could disrupt the social fabric.

“Those who have dedicated themselves to protecting Sanatan Dharma and Hinduism must refrain from baseless statements, as these only serve to create division,” he added.

Meanwhile, highlighting challenges faced by Sanatan Dharma and Hindutva, Jagadguru Swami Vasudevanand called for unity against external pressures seeking to influence India’s internal affairs.

“The dream of Akhand Bharat and the preservation of Sanatan Dharma require collective effort,” he stressed, urging for solidarity in the face of international scrutiny.
