Surat Woman Kills Two-Year-Old Son For Lover, Watches ‘Drishyam’ After Murder To Learn Where To Bury Body

A mother in Gujarat’s Surat area murdered her two-and-a-half-year-old toddler before reporting the kid missing. After filing the case, she joined the police in their hunt for her “missing” child for three days in a row, but they were unable to find him.

The mother of the child was detained after becoming a suspect as a result of the police investigation.

Having lost track of her two-and-a-half-year-old son Veer, Nayana Mandavi, a construction site worker in Surat’s Dindoli neighbourhood went to the police station to file a report.

The police looked through the CCTV footage from the woman’s place of employment, a construction site, but they were unable to spot the child leaving the building. This led them to the conclusion that the child had not left the location. The woman was extensively questioned by the police over the disappearance of her child, but she gave no reasonable explanations.

The police searched for the missing toddler using a dog squad as well, but they were unable to locate any proof that the child had survived the escape from the construction site.

Woman criminally Accuses Her Lover Of Kidnapping

The woman said that her child had been abducted by her partner, who lives in Jharkhand.

The woman’s lover was contacted by the police, but they were unable to find him in the Surat area. Having never gone to Surat, he told the police.

Woman Confesses Killing Her Son

Since the boy hadn’t left the work site and there was no proof of an abduction, the police faced a difficult task in trying to find him. The woman was questioned more closely, and she eventually admitted killing her child. However, she originally gave misleading information when asked where she had hidden the body.

The woman initially stated that the body had been buried in a pit, but nothing was discovered when the area was dug up. She then claimed to have tossed the body into a pond, but when the authorities searched there, they again found nothing.

The woman admitted to throwing the body into a pit meant for the building site’s lavatory after being interrogated for a prolonged period of time. From there, the child’s body was located.

Reason behind Murder

The woman responded that she was originally from Jharkhand and had a lover there when questioned about the reason behind killing her son and concealing the body. He had warned her that if she brought her child, he wouldn’t accept her.

She killed her son in an effort to win her lover’s approval. She watched the film Drishyam after the murder to learn where to bury the body.

Watched Drishyam To hide The Body

In the movie “Drishyam,” there is a scene where the body is disposed of following a murder but no arrests have been made and the case is still open.

By employing this strategy, the woman thought she could avoid capture by the police and travel to Jharkhand to be with her sweetheart.
