Supreme Court Delays Raghav Chadha Rajya Sabha Suspension Case Hearing to December 8

Supreme Court has postponed the hearing on the petition filed by Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha. Now the Supreme Court will hear this matter on December 8. In the last hearing, the Supreme Court had asked Raghav Chadha to meet the Chairman of Rajya Sabha and apologize unconditionally. The court had said, you should meet the Chairman and apologize unconditionally, after which the Chairman can consider it on the basis that he is a young member. In this way a way may be found to end his suspension.

Let us tell you that Raghav Chadha has challenged his suspension from Rajya Sabha in the Supreme Court. He was suspended in August. He was accused of signing the names of his five fellow MPs without their consent. Raghav has been accused of misbehavior. Chadha has been suspended on this basis. In fact, when the matter is before the Privilege Committee, defending oneself in the media is considered a violation of the rules.

Action in case of fake signature

Raghav Chadha will remain suspended from Rajya Sabha till the report of the Special Committee comes. This action was taken against AAP MP in the case of fake signatures of five MPs regarding Delhi Services Bill. Raghav Chadha is accused of proposing the formation of a committee consisting of MPs without their approval, which is a violation of the rules. Now the Privileges Committee will investigate this matter. Raghav Chadha will remain suspended from Rajya Sabha till the report of the Privileges Committee comes. Raghav Chadha has approached the Supreme Court in this matter.
