Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of the incarcerated Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, asserted during the INDIA bloc’s rally in Ranchi that her husband was being denied insulin in Tihar jail, claiming it as an attempt to harm him. She criticized the imprisonment of Kejriwal and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren without sufficient evidence, labeling it as dictatorial. She emphasized Kejriwal’s commitment to serving the nation, highlighting his sacrifices and patriotism.
Addressing the gathering, Sunita Kejriwal portrayed her husband as a courageous leader deeply concerned about the welfare of the country even while in jail. She expressed concerns over his health, stating that despite being a diabetic requiring insulin for over a decade, he was allegedly being deprived of it in prison.
The Enforcement Directorate’s claim regarding Kejriwal’s diet to manipulate medical conditions for bail was dismissed by his lawyer, who emphasized Kejriwal’s commitment to his health and well-being. The lawyer clarified that Kejriwal had consumed mangoes and aloo poori on rare occasions, refuting the allegation of deliberate manipulation.

Meanwhile, AAP leader Sanjay Singh criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the ‘Ulgulan Nyay Rally’ in Ranchi, equating his anti-corruption rhetoric to the irony of notorious figures advocating for peace. Singh likened Modi’s words on corruption to the absurdity of Osama Bin Laden and Gabbar Singh advocating for non-violence, ridiculing the effectiveness of what he referred to as “Modi washing powder” in cleansing corruption.
