50th death anniversary of national poet Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar'
On April 24th, India will mark the 50th death anniversary of one of its most prominent Hindi writers, poets, and essayists, Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’. To commemorate this occasion, a special event will take place at the Kamani Auditorium in the national capital Delhi, located at Copper Nicks Marg in Mandi House.
The event, organized by the National Poet Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’ Memorial Trust, will celebrate ‘Rashmirathi Parv’ on April 24th. The festivities will kick off at 6 pm with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by esteemed guests. Following this, at 6:15 pm, the release of the souvenir titled ‘Kamal Aaj Unki Jai Bol’ will take place. Subsequently, a seminar highlighting the contributions of the national poet ‘Dinkar’ towards fostering a harmonious society will commence.
A theatrical staging of ‘Rashmirathi’, under the direction of Mujeeb Khan, head of Idea Mumbai – a registered entity in both the Limca Book of Records and Worldwide Records – will be the centerpiece of the ‘Rashmirathi Parv’. The play will begin at 7:16 pm.’

‘Rashmirathi’, a literary masterpiece penned by Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’, delves into the life and dialogues of Karna, the illustrious warrior from the Mahabharata. Through this epic work, Dinkar established himself as one of the foremost heroic poets of the modern era.
This event promises to be a fitting tribute to the enduring legacy of Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’, inviting enthusiasts of Hindi literature and poetry to partake in the celebration of his remarkable contributions to Indian literature.
