In a message shared on social media, Swami Avdheshanand Giri described the gathering of spiritual leaders at Shri Kalki Dham in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, as an exceptionally rare and historic moment for the Sanatan tradition.
He noted that such occasions, when acharyas from diverse lineages unite with the shared purpose of strengthening Dharma, safeguarding culture, and promoting public welfare, are profound. He added that these gatherings are spiritually uplifting.
Swami Avdheshanand highlighted that this confluence embodied divine inspiration and represented the enduring continuity of Sanatan Dharma’s sacred heritage.
The event took place upon the invitation of Acharya Pramod Krishnam, the revered head of Kalki Peeth. Swami Avdheshanand, honoured as Junapeethadhishwar and Acharyamandaleshwar, attended the festival themed on the ‘Kalki Katha’, inspired by the Kalki Purana.
He joined other prominent spiritual figures, including Padma Vibhushan Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Tulsi Peethadhishwar Swami Ramabhadracharya, whose narration of the ‘Kalki Katha’ formed the centrepiece of the occasion.
Swami Avdheshanand stressed that his presence was not merely ceremonial. Instead, it exemplified a meaningful dialogue on Dharma, the harmonious blending of revered traditions and a living testament to the awakening of Sanatan values.
Swami Avdheshanand reflected on the teachings of the Kalki Purana and stated that its message does not confine itself to eschatological predictions.
Rather, it serves as an eternal warning for times when unrighteousness intensifies, society drifts from its roots, truth is abandoned, and greed prevails.
He emphasised that the Kalki avatar symbolises the enduring principles of duty, purity, discipline and courage, values that remain relevant across ages.
Swami Avdheshanand also expressed encouragement over the ongoing construction of the Kalki Dham temple. He noted that its progress has infused devotees with enthusiasm and renewed spiritual energy.
The gathering at Shri Kalki Dham, he added, stands as a vibrant reminder of the collective resolve to uphold spiritual traditions. It also highlights the commitment to preserving the cultural ethos of Sanatan Dharma.
