Seeing Police Uniforms Should Inspire Sense Of security And Trust In Public: Yogi

Moradabad: Seeing the police uniform should awaken the feeling of security and confidence in the public. The dutifulness of the police can bring smiles on the faces of the public. The foundation of good governance in any state is strengthened by good law and order. Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath said these things as the chief guest at the convocation parade ceremony of 74 new Deputy SPs organized at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy, Moradabad on Monday.

After undergoing 18 months of training in the Police Academy, 74 Deputy SPs passed out after knowing the new laws. These include 18 female and 56 male officers. The Chief Minister honoured the trainee officers who performed excellently in internal and external subjects during the training.

After taking the salute of the parade at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy, Chief Guest Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing all the new Deputy SPs, said that I congratulate 74 new Deputy Superintendents of Police for making them a part of the Civil Police, the world’s largest police force. Yogi Adityanath further said that training was provided to all the trainees about the new laws under the BNS 2023. He said that we have set a standard in police recruitment, under which the share of daughters in about 20 percent police personnel should be there.

That is why today out of 74 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 18 daughters have also become Deputy Superintendents of Police. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the more one sweats during training, the less blood is shed in the job. The present smart police should be as modern as it is alert and as active as it should be responsible. You have to move beyond the old techniques of investigation and punishment. We have to perform our duties keeping in mind the safety of the general public. Challenges never end in the police department, yet you have to set a successful example of integrity before the public.
