Sanjay Kumar Jha Calls PM Modi’s Interaction With MPs A Strong Message Against Terrorism

Sanjay Kumar Jha, Janata Dal (United) Rajya Sabha MP, on Wednesday, emphasised the significance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interaction with MPs involved in Operation Sindoor, describing it as a powerful declaration of India’s unified stance against terrorism.

Jha’s comments came a day after a high-level meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence. Members from seven multi-party delegations, recently returned from official foreign visits, gathered there for an in-depth exchange of views.

“Yesterday, the Prime Minister called all the MPs from the seven delegations and listened to everyone. He shared his experiences from the journey along with valuable tips,” stated Jha, underlining the significance of the Prime Minister’s direct outreach.

He further stressed that the Prime Minister viewed the delegations as representative of the entire nation’s voice.

“The Prime Minister emphasised that this was an all-party delegation, representing the united voice of the entire country. He sent a strong message to the world about India’s zero-tolerance stance against terrorism,” Jha asserted.

The delegation led by Jha visited countries such as Japan, South Korea, and Singapore. Their mission was to deepen diplomatic relations and convey India’s commitment to peace and development.

The government, however, noted that the MPs played an important role in highlighting the country’s efforts to combat terrorism and promote stability.

Jha elaborated on the learnings from the delegation’s overseas engagements. He pointed to the advanced development of the host nations and their relevance as economic benchmarks.

“We highlighted Japan, South Korea, and Singapore as three highly developed, industrialised nations with strong economies. They receive significant investments, and many countries look up to their experiences,” he noted.

The JD(U) leader further added, “We shared what we learned about their perspectives and how much they appreciate India’s growth and economic development, especially as a neighbouring country. We said we don’t even want to compare ourselves, but just want to be acknowledged.”

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi praised the efforts of the MPs, noting their effective presentation of India’s stance abroad.

“We are all proud of the manner in which they put forward India’s voice,” he said, as per an official statement.
