A seven-member delegation from the Sanatan Mahapanchayat recently met with Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren to discuss and convey information regarding the tradition of showering flowers by helicopter during the Ramnavami procession, a significant festival in the Sanatan faith.
During the meeting, the delegation presented a demand letter expressing their desire for the continuation of the tradition of showering flowers on the procession route along the main road, from Firayalal Chowk to Tapovan Temple, at 5 pm. They emphasized that this tradition, which sees the participation of millions of devotees of Lord Ram, holds great significance and requested the Chief Minister’s guidance and support in continuing this noble practice.
Additionally, the Sanatan Mahapanchayat extended an invitation to the Honorable Chief Minister to participate in the procession alongside them. The delegation comprised Chief Organizer Lalit Narayan Ojha, Patrons Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal and Ramdhan Burman, Organizer Sanjay Minocha, Youth Wing representative Sanjay Mahato, and Chief Advisor Raju Katpa.
