RJD’s ‘Aakrosh March’ In Patna To Challenge Nitish Kumar’s Law & Order Record

On Saturday, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-led Mahagathbandhan will stage a major protest in Patna, dubbed the ‘Aakrosh March,’ to challenge the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government’s record on law and order.

The march is to highlight the rising crime rates across Bihar, which the opposition claims reflects a severe deterioration in the state’s security situation.

The protest will begin at the RJD’s head office on Veerchand Patel Path, proceed through key locations including the Income Tax roundabout and Dak Bangalow Chowk, and culminate at the district magistrate’s office in Patna.

The march aims to draw attention to the increasing number of criminal incidents reported in various districts of Bihar.

Tejashwi Yadav, Leader of the Opposition, has been vocal about the state’s worsening law and order.

He has been consistently releasing crime bulletins to spotlight the growing insecurity.

Meanwhile, the recent murder of Jitan Sahani in Darbhanga district has provided further ammunition for the opposition, intensifying scrutiny of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s administration.

Jitan Sahani, the father of Mukesh Sahani, President of the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), was killed in an incident that has sparked outrage and criticism from various political quarters.

In response to the escalating crime rates and mounting criticism, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar however held a high-level meeting with police and civil administrative officers in Patna on Friday.

During the meeting, Kumar directed the officials to enhance their efforts in crime prevention and warned of severe departmental actions against any negligence.

The Chief Minister also instructed the officials to address and resolve ongoing land dispute issues that have contributed to the overall sense of insecurity.
