On India’s 76th Republic Day, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar called on the nation to work towards “Viksit Bharat” by 2047. In a post on X, Dhankhar urged youth to lead the way. He stressed the importance of social harmony, family values, and civic duties.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his greetings. He celebrated 75 years since the Constitution was enacted. “We bow to all the great women and men who made our Constitution,” Modi said in his post.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah shared his Republic Day greetings in Hindi. He highlighted the values of India’s Constitution and urged citizens to work towards a developed India.
President Droupadi Murmu will lead the Republic Day celebrations at Kartavya Path in New Delhi. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is the Chief Guest. The government invited 10,000 special guests to attend, representing various fields of excellence.
The Republic Day Parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. President Murmu will take the salute. The parade will feature 300 artists playing “Sare Jahan Se Achha” on instruments from across the country.
The parade will also display 16 state tableaux and 10 from ministries. It will highlight India’s unity, equality, and development.
The event will conclude with a breathtaking fly-past, featuring 40 aircraft and helicopters. It will end with balloons carrying the 75th anniversary logo of India’s Constitution.
