Acclaimed film actor Sanjay Mishra, during his visit to the Sangam on Monday, praised the Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for its outstanding preparations for the Maha Kumbh 2025.
Mishra lauded the state’s meticulous planning and seamless arrangements, describing the event as a testament to the government’s vision of a divine, grand, and safe Maha Kumbh.
The sight of the sprawling Tent City on the sands of the Sangam captivated the actor, who also enjoyed a serene boat ride at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.
Mishra expressed his appreciation for the robust security measures put in place by the Uttar Pradesh Police. He noted the presence of police personnel across the fairgrounds, ensuring not only safety but also extending assistance to devotees, which he said fosters a sense of security and hospitality.
Mishra urged the devotees attending the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj to take collective responsibility for maintaining cleanliness, highlighting that the fair is a shared space for everyone.
He emphasized that cleanliness is not solely the duty of the government or administration but a responsibility shared by all participants.
“Everyone should perform their duty and cooperate in realizing the Yogi government’s vision of a clean Maha Kumbh,” Mishra remarked.
The actor also engaged with the public during his visit, taking selfies with enthusiastic fans and interacting warmly with the crowd.
