Regime Change Already Written On Walls & Minds Of People In West Bengal: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday asserted that political change in West Bengal had become unavoidable. He said the sentiment for transformation was already visible in public opinion across the state.

Addressing a massive rally at Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata, the Prime Minister claimed that citizens now strongly favour the Bharatiya Janata Party forming the next government.

The rally marked the conclusion of the party’s ‘Parivartan Yatra’ ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.

PM Modi alleged that the state had suffered under the rule of the All India Trinamool Congress.

According to him, the party began incorporating individuals with criminal backgrounds soon after assuming power in 2011.

Prime Minister Modi argued that this development eroded public trust and weakened governance structures.

The Prime Minister further accused the ruling party of allowing corruption and violence to flourish across the state.

He claimed incidents of serious crime, particularly crimes against women, frequently involved individuals linked to the Trinamool Congress leadership.

PM Modi assured the gathering that a BJP government would enforce strict law and order.

He said authorities would take decisive action against criminal elements and restore the rule of law in the state.

The Prime Minister also criticised the state administration for allegedly encouraging illegal infiltration.

He said such infiltration had altered the demographic composition of several districts and created security concerns, especially for women.

He further claimed that the Trinamool Congress resisted efforts to create a transparent voters’ list because illegal migrants formed a reliable vote bank.

PM Modi also accused the state government of obstructing the implementation of various central welfare schemes intended for the people of West Bengal.
