Ravi Shankar Prasad Praises Indian Diaspora In France During Op Sindoor Outreach

In a major global outreach effort under Operation Sindoor, senior BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad led an all-party parliamentary delegation to engage with the Indian diaspora in France.

The delegation reaffirmed India’s firm stance against terrorism and highlighted the country’s zero-tolerance policy.

The delegation arrived in Paris on Sunday evening, carrying a clear message aimed at strengthening international understanding of India’s counter-terrorism posture.

Solidarity From Indian Diaspora Receives High Praise

Taking to the social media platform X, Ravi Shankar Prasad shared a moving moment from the visit, “Along with my delegation colleagues, I engaged with the vibrant Indian community in France, reaffirming India’s unwavering stance against terrorism. The diaspora’s powerful display of solidarity was both impressive and deeply emotional.”

The Indian Embassy in France confirmed the delegation’s interactive discussions with experts from various French think tanks.

These experts received a detailed briefing on India’s firm message against terrorism and recent counter-terror operations, including the strategic objectives behind Operation Sindoor, launched after the Pahalgam terror attack.

The nine-member delegation features representatives from across the political spectrum: Daggubati Purandeswari (BJP), Priyanka Chaturvedi (Shiv Sena UBT), Ghulam Ali Khatana (BJP), Amar Singh (Congress), Samik Bhattacharya (BJP), M. Thambidurai (AIADMK), former Union Minister MJ Akbar, and former Ambassador Pankaj Saran.

This bipartisan composition underscores India’s unified approach to national security issues.

Indian Diaspora On European Tour After France

France marks the first stop on a six-nation European tour.

The delegation will next travel to Italy, the UK, Germany, Denmark, and other European countries to continue diplomatic outreach.

Their goal is to reinforce India’s strong stance against terrorism.

The delegation aims to send a resolute message by engaging both global stakeholders and diaspora communities.

Terrorism, especially with cross-border links, will meet united resistance from India and its partners worldwide.
