With just three days remaining until the consecration of Ram Mandir, slated for January 22, devotees from all across the country are eager to embark on a journey to Ayodhya. Lord Ram’s ‘janmaboomi’ has undergone extensive adornment, with vibrant decorations and flowers, taking the beauty of the city up a notch, for the upcoming ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.

For those travelling by air, the newly inaugurated Ayodhya International Airport, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in December 2023, is facilitating easy access. Several airlines have announced special flights to Ayodhya in honour of the consecration ceremony. Additionally, visitors have the option to fly into Mahayogi Gokrakhnat Airport in Gorakhpur, or Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow, as well as airports in Prayagraj or Varanasi.
Rail travel is also a convenient option, with Ayodhya’s dedicated railway station well-connected to various states and cities. Numerous trains are available, offering accessibility to visitors arriving from different regions.
For those opting for road travel, a network of public and private service buses regularly operates routes to Ayodhya. The Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation buses provide connectivity from major cities such as Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Delhi, and others, ensuring a comprehensive transportation network for pilgrims and visitors heading to Ayodhya for this momentous occasion.
