The Rajasthan High Court acquitted all of the defendants in the 2008 serial Jaipur blast case, which claimed 71 lives and injured over 180 others.

A trial court sentenced the accused to death, which was overturned by the Supreme Court.

On Wednesday, the division bench of justices Pankaj Bhandari and Sameer Jain pronounced the judgment.

On May 13, 2008, Jaipur was rocked by a series of explosions at Manak Chawk Khanda, Chandpole Gate, Badi Chaupad, Chhoti Chaupad, Tripolia Gate, Johri Bazar, and Sanganeri Gate.

The evening explosions killed 71 people and injured 185 others.
