Prime Minister Modi Urges First-Time Voters In Varanasi To Cast Ballots

In a concerted effort to galvanize first-time voters in Varanasi ahead of the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections on 1 June, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has penned down a heartfelt letter, appealing to them to exercise their democratic right.

The outreach initiative spearheaded by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) involves the distribution of Prime Minister Modi’s letter, accompanied by felicitation notes, to the 31,538 first-time voters across various localities in Varanasi.

“Greetings to you, as Pradhan Sevak of Bharat and your Parliamentarian, today, I am writing to you with full pride and confidence,” the letter commenced, underscoring the significance of their inaugural participation in the electoral process.

Acknowledging the privilege bestowed upon them to shape the country’s destiny through the ballot box, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the pivotal role of democracy in nation-building.

“This opportunity to participate in the democratic process is a privilege which will witness your participation in nation-building because democracy is not only a form of governance but also the ‘adharshila’ (cornerstone) of our Independence,” the letter articulated.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister underscored the transformative journey of Varanasi, attesting to its remarkable developmental strides over the past decade.

“You are a witness as to how Varanasi has touched new heights of development in the last 10 years,” he affirmed, extolling the region’s progress under his stewardship.

Kashi region BJP’s OBC Morcha Vice-President Somnath Vishwakarma and his dedicated team are facilitating the dissemination of these personalized letters and felicitation notes.

Speaking on the initiative, Vishwakarma highlighted the significance of the Prime Minister’s outreach, stressing its role in fostering civic engagement among the youth electorate.

The inclusion of felicitation notes alongside the Prime Minister’s letters further underscores the BJP’s concerted efforts to engage and empower first-time voters, urging them to partake in the democratic process and contribute to the nation’s democratic fabric.

As the electoral landscape in Varanasi gears up for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi’s impassioned appeal to the first-time voters resonates as a call to action, underscoring the significance of their vote in shaping the nation’s trajectory.
