President Murmu Installs Shri Ram Yantra At Ayodhya Temple; Construction Complete

President Droupadi Murmu installed the ‘Shri Ram Yantra’ at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on Thursday, marking a major milestone in the temple’s construction. She offered prayers amid Vedic chants, lending deep spiritual significance to the occasion.

Authorities placed the Shri Ram Yantra on the temple’s second and final level, symbolising completeness. With this installation, they declared the construction complete, marking a historic moment for devotees across the country.

Vedic scholars from southern India, Kashi and Ayodhya conducted the rituals under the guidance of priest Ganeshwar Shastri.

The ceremony reflected traditional practices and drew attention from across the nation.

On her arrival, President Murmu received a warm welcome from Anandiben Patel, Yogi Adityanath, and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak.

As part of her visit, she will felicitate nearly 400 workers who contributed to the temple’s construction and hoist a flag at a shrine in the parkota area.

The event not only marked completion but also recognised the efforts behind the project.

Authorities made extensive arrangements across the city, decorating roads with saffron flags and banners to create a festive atmosphere. They also implemented strict security, sanitation and traffic measures to ensure smooth proceedings.

Officials temporarily suspended VIP darshan during the visit while allowing general devotees entry at other times, ensuring both safety and accessibility.
