Eid al-Adha celebrations commenced across India with religious fervour and devotion. Early morning saw large congregations at mosques and Eidgahs in cities and towns nationwide, where devotees offered prayers and participated in rituals marking the sacred occasion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to X to convey his greetings, posting, “Best wishes on Eid ul-Adha. May this occasion inspire harmony and strengthen the fabric of peace in our society. Wishing everyone good health and prosperity.”

Thousands gathered for morning prayers at major mosques in Delhi and Noida.
In Noida, prayers took place around 7:00 AM, while namaz timings in Greater Noida varied between 6:45 AM and 8:15 AM, depending on the mosque.
