MyGov Launches Exciting Contests To Celebrate 11 Years Of Transformative Governance

Marking 11 years of transformative governance, citizen engagement platform MyGov has launched a series of contests and activities, offering cash prizes up to Rs 1 lakh.

One of the key initiatives, the ‘Viksit Bharat 2025 Quiz’, invites citizens to test their knowledge of India’s development journey.

This effort aims to boost public awareness, celebrate collective achievements, and encourage active participation in the nation’s progress.

The Ministry of Electronics and IT announced that the quiz will reward Rs 1,00,000 to the top scorer, Rs 75,000 to the runner-up, and Rs 50,000 to the third-place winner.

Moreover, the organisers will award 100 consolation prizes of Rs 2,000 and 200 consolation prizes of Rs 1,000, while giving all participants a digital certificate.

Swadeshi And Storytelling Contests Engage Citizens

Alongside the quiz, MyGov has introduced the “Har Ghar Swadeshi – 1 Nation 1 Spirit Photo Story Contest.”

Citizens are encouraged to share a photo and a 150–200-word story about a ‘Made in India’ product they use daily.

The contest further aims to highlight the uniqueness of Swadeshi products and inspire others. Eleven winners will each receive Rs 11,000.

The top 11 winners will receive Rs 11,000 each.

Showcasing Public Participation In National Initiatives

The “Bharat ke Badhte Kadam A Janbhagidari Photo Contest” seeks photographs reflecting citizens’ involvement in national campaigns such as Swachh Bharat and Mission LiFE.

Participants must provide a 50–100-word description of their experience. Eleven winners will be awarded Rs 11,000 each.

Video Storytelling Highlights Impact Of Government Schemes

Lastly, the “Ek Bharat, Pragatisheel Bharat Video Storytelling Contest” encourages citizens to create a one-minute video featuring beneficiaries sharing how a government scheme has improved their lives.

This contest aims to spotlight the personal stories behind policy successes, emphasising dignity, empowerment, and ease of living.

Together, these contests further invite citizens to celebrate India’s progress and strengthen the spirit of collective participation.
