PM Narendra Modi To Visit Gujarat On May 11: What All Is On The Agenda?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on May 11 to attend religious, administrative, and community engagements across Gir Somnath and Vadodara. Authorities have initiated multi-level preparations to ensure seamless execution of the visit.

The Prime Minister will begin his itinerary at the Somnath Temple, where he will perform darshan.

District Collector NV Upadhyay chaired a review meeting and directed officials to complete arrangements within strict timelines.

Administrators are ensuring an uninterrupted power supply, traffic control, parking management, and sanitation along designated routes.

Security deployment has intensified, with barricading and logistical measures implemented across key locations.

Coordination meetings in Gandhinagar, led by Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, have strengthened administrative and security planning.

The Prime Minister will then travel to Vadodara to inaugurate the Sardar Dham Bhavan-3, also known as the Shri Dushyant and Daksha Patel Complex.

The facility, located near Vaghodia Crossing on NH-8A beside L&T Knowledge City, spans approximately 4.75 lakh square feet and costs Rs 150 crore. It includes 278 rooms, an NRI guest house, an e-library, a career guidance centre, training facilities, and a 1,000-seat auditorium.

During the programme, the Prime Minister will receive the Sardar Ratna award from Patidar community organisations. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and senior officials will attend the event.

Sardar Dham Trust President Gajji Sutaria said the project aligns with Mission 2026, focusing on youth development and educational expansion.

Organisers expect wide participation, and a roadshow from the airport to the venue is likely.
