PM Modi Urges Citizens To Buy Made-in-India Products; Calls For Swadeshi Revival

PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday called on all Indians to adopt Swadeshi products and strengthen the nation’s self-reliance.

Speaking at a rally in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, on his 75th birthday, PM Modi said, “When low GST rates take effect on the auspicious occasion of Navaratri from 22nd September, we all Indians must accept Swadeshi products.”

PM Modi emphasised that a developed India depends on empowering local industries and embracing indigenous goods. He urged citizens to take pride in products made in India and to support local artisans, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs.

In a symbolic move, he advised the state government to ensure every shop displays a board reading, “Garv se kaho ye Swadeshi hai (Say with pride, this is Swadeshi).”

He also led the crowd in chanting the slogan, sparking enthusiasm and national pride.
