PM Modi Slams RJD For ‘Jungle Raj’ Decay Of Dalmiya Nagar; Urges Voters To Reject Misrule

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday targeted the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) during his campaign rally in Bhabua, alleging that the party’s ‘jungle raj’ era had destroyed Bihar’s once-thriving industrial base.

PM Modi said that the RJD’s misrule ruined Dalmiya Nagar, an industrial hub established during British rule, which had once created opportunities for the state’s youth.

He reminded voters that the people of Rohtas had witnessed how extortion, corruption, and violence had dismantled the region’s industrial growth.

“A thriving industrial town was being built through decades of hard work, but then the politics of misrule arrived. Extortion, ransom demands, murder, and strikes, everything began happening. In the blink of an eye, jungle raj destroyed everything,” he said, urging citizens to remain vigilant while voting.

Tourism Neglected Under RJD Regime, Says PM Modi

The Prime Minister also criticised the RJD for failing to tap Kaimur’s tourism potential. He said the area’s natural beauty and diverse ecology could have made it a major tourist attraction, but misgovernance kept it from flourishing.

PM Modi added that the NDA government’s efforts had helped the region emerge from the shadow of red terror, paving the way for tourism and employment growth.

Continuing his attack, PM Modi accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, whom he termed the ‘two Yuvrajs’, of placing their families above the Constitution’s values. “They never respected leaders like Babasaheb Ambedkar or Jagjivan Ram because their stature was greater than their dynasties,” he said.

PM Modi also criticised them for avoiding Ayodhya, alleging they feared losing their vote banks due to their appeasement politics.

With his sharp criticism of the opposition, PM Modi reinforced the NDA’s campaign narrative of governance, development, and an end to Bihar’s era of ‘jungle raj’ politics.
