PM Modi Shares Video Of Massive Crowd In West Bengal Ahead Of Rally

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video from West Bengal. It showed large crowds gathered near a helipad ahead of his campaign rally. He highlighted the strong public response despite rising temperatures.

Posting the clip on Instagram, the Prime Minister drew attention to the turnout, noting, “It’s about to be noon. 🕛 Scorching heat. 🌞 But the enthusiasm of West Bengal is 🔝🔝🔝. 🪷 all the way all across the state.”

In the video, he is heard saying, “My dear countrymen, you can see behind me the mood of West Bengal. Right now, the time is around 11:30 AM, and this is my first rally of the day.”

“At the helipad itself, young people, sisters, and mothers have gathered in large numbers. This scene is truly incredible. However, I must leave now as people are waiting for me to address the rally,” he further added.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister addressed a gathering in East Burdwan district. He remarked on the scale of participation at his rallies and said he had not seen such turnout even during his political engagements in Gujarat.

During his speech, PM Modi said that if the Bharatiya Janata Party comes to power, it would release a detailed report on alleged corruption. He said this would focus on the tenure of the All India Trinamool Congress government.

PM Modi also dismissed claims that a BJP government would discontinue welfare programmes. He said existing schemes would continue and authorities would act against corruption.

Additionally, PM Modi said a new government would move to implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme in the state.

PM Modi also said strict action would target illegal infiltration and those facilitating it through fraudulent documentation.

Polling for the state Assembly will take place in two phases on April 23 and April 29, with results on May 4.
