PM Modi Praises Debutant BJP Candidate Madhavi Latha Ahead of Hyderabad Showdown with Owaisi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended rare accolades to Madhavi Latha, a debutant BJP candidate contesting in the upcoming Lok Sabha election from the Hyderabad constituency, challenging AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi. In a tweet, Modi commended Latha for her exceptional performance on the ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ program, urging everyone to watch her episode.

“Madhavi Latha Ji, your ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ episode is exceptional. You’ve made very solid points and also done so with logic and passion. My best wishes to you,” Modi tweeted.

In response, Madhavi Latha expressed gratitude to Modi, attributing her courage to speak truthfully to him and citing the BJP’s motto of #SabkaSathSabkaVikas as her inspiration. “Modi ji, I got the courage to speak the truth fearlessly from you only and our party motto #SabkaSathSabkaVikas is my inspiration. We will follow the path shown by you till the last breath that we will progress only if the nation moves forward unitedly,” said Madhavi Latha.

During her appearance on the show, Madhavi Latha boldly predicted Owaisi’s defeat by a margin of 1,50,000 votes, alleging that he possessed 6 lakh votes. She claimed, “If we had bogus votes, we could continuously win for 4,000 years. But what to do? We do not have bogus votes. Owaisi has 6,20,000 bogus votes.”

Highlighting the state of the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency, Latha recounted a distressing incident involving the sale of a Muslim girl to a 70-year-old Arab man, despite Hyderabad’s reputation as a hi-tech city. She pointed out the disparity in job opportunities, noting that although 3 lakh IT jobs were created in India last year, with over 1 lakh in Hyderabad, only a small percentage of the Hyderabad constituency benefited. Furthermore, she emphasized that even those who secure good jobs tend to leave the area, contributing to its decline.

Reflecting on her candidature against Owaisi, Latha expressed gratitude for being selected by Modi, emphasizing his transparent and visionary approach to politics. “I learnt about my selection from TV news channels. I am fortunate that I can now meet Modiji after getting the ticket. Without meeting me, or without knowing me, he selected me only based on my (social) work,” she said.

Latha highlighted her philanthropic endeavors over the past two decades and pledged to provide 1,009 normal deliveries free of charge in the Hyderabad LS constituency within the next 8 to 10 months. “Sitting in Delhi, without knowing me, he felt that I could give a fight to Asad Ji (Owaisi) and he gave me the ticket. What more transparent politics can be like this?” she added.
