PM Modi Leads Massive Roadshow In Patna Ahead Of Bihar Election 2025; Streets Overflow With Supporters

Prime Minister Narendra Modi electrified Patna on Sunday with a massive roadshow, marking a powerful push ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.

After addressing rallies in Arrah and Nawada earlier in the day, he arrived in the state capital to lead what turned into one of the biggest political events of the season.

Upon his arrival, Prime Minister Modi paid floral tributes to national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar at Dinkar Chowk in Rajendra Nagar.

The gesture was seen as a symbolic nod to Bihar’s rich cultural and literary heritage.

Before he set out to connect directly with the people.

The roadshow began at Dinkar Golambar and stretched for nearly 1.5 kilometres toward Gandhi Maidan, passing through Nala Road, Thakur Bari, Bari Path, and Bakarganj.

Thousands of supporters lined the streets, waving BJP flags and chanting slogans such as ‘Modi Zindabad’ and ‘Jai Shri Ram.’

The city turned into a sea of saffron as crowds cheered and showered petals on the Prime Minister’s convoy.

Women, children, and elderly citizens filled balconies and rooftops, eager to catch a glimpse of the leader.

Despite tight security arrangements and barricades, the enthusiasm was infectious.

PM Modi greeted the crowds continuously, waving with folded hands and smiling as people responded with cheers and slogans.

Supporters welcomed him with garlands and flowers along the route, creating a festive atmosphere.

Many attempted to click selfies or record videos as Modi’s cavalcade passed by.

The Prime Minister’s interaction with the crowd created an image of personal connection and mass engagement ahead of the polls.

Senior BJP leaders, including state party president Dilip Jaiswal and Union Minister Lalan Singh, accompanied the Prime Minister, underlining the event’s political importance.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s absence from the roadshow drew attention, fueling speculation about internal political dynamics.

With the Bihar Assembly elections approaching, Modi’s Patna roadshow showcased the BJP-led NDA’s intent to display unity, strength, and confidence.

Political observers viewed it as a strategic effort to energise the party’s base.

This will shape public sentiment and set the tone for a high-stakes electoral battle in the months to come.
