PM Modi, Leaders Greets Jyotiraditya Scindia On Birthday; Praises Telecom And Northeast Work

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday conveyed warm birthday wishes to Union Minister of Communications and Minister of Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia, commending his efforts to strengthen India’s telecom sector and improve the lives of people in the Northeast.

In a message shared on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister highlighted Scindia’s work in expanding communications infrastructure and advancing development initiatives in the northeastern states. He also prayed for the minister’s long life and good health.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended birthday wishes, praising Scindia’s work under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Shah said the minister had made commendable efforts in strengthening the country’s communication networks while fostering development and trust in Northeast India.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joined in wishing Scindia good health and a long life, expressing hope that he would continue to serve the nation with renewed energy and commitment to public service.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also conveyed her greetings, lauding Scindia’s dedication and work ethic. She described his efforts in modernising the communications sector and promoting all-round development in the Northeast as exemplary, and prayed for his happiness, prosperity and longevity.

Scindia’s Role in Communications and Northeast Growth

Scindia, born on January 1, 1971, has played a key role in driving reforms and investments in the communications sector.

As the minister overseeing the development of the North Eastern Region, he has also focused on connectivity, infrastructure and inclusive growth in a region that has long been a strategic priority for the central government.

Political leaders across party lines acknowledged his contributions, reflecting his prominence within the current administration.

Scindia hails from the Scindia family, historically associated with the erstwhile princely state of Gwalior, and remains an influential figure in national politics.
