Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) in Sitapura on Monday. The summit aims to boost investment in Rajasthan and position the state as a key player in India’s economic development.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma welcomed the Prime Minister, praising the event as a crucial step toward realizing Modi’s vision of a developed India. In his speech, Sharma emphasized the summit’s importance, highlighting that Rajasthan is advancing under the PM’s leadership.

CM Sharma also accompanied PM Modi on a tour of an exhibition showcasing Rajasthan’s rich tradition of handmade artistry. During the visit, the Prime Minister engaged in a unique hands-on experience by making prints on clothes with blocks, showcasing the state’s vibrant craftsmanship.
PM Modi arrived at Jaipur airport at around 10:10 AM, where he was welcomed by several prominent leaders, including former CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia, BJP state president Madan Rathore, and Haryana in-charge Satish Poonia. The PM spent a brief seven minutes at the airport before heading to the JECC to inaugurate the summit.
During the event, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma delivered a welcome speech, stating, “It’s a proud day for Rajasthan as the Prime Minister inaugurates the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. Under your leadership, India is moving towards becoming the third-largest economy, touching new heights.”
Sharma also emphasized the state’s commitment to enhancing business opportunities, stating that Rajasthan has introduced new policies to ease doing business. “We have already signed MoUs worth 33 lakh crore before the start of this event,” he added.
In his address, PM Modi express his excitement about Rajasthan’s potential, tweeting, “Rajasthan is for its dynamic people, who possess immense entrepreneurial spirit. The state offers numerous investment opportunities, and I look forward to today’s Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit.”
Several renowned industrialists, including Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anand Mahindra, and Anil Agarwal, participated in the summit, reinforcing its significance as a major investment platform for Rajasthan.
