The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released its list of 40 ‘star campaigners’ for the Maharashtra Assembly polls on November 20 and the Nanded Lok Sabha by-election. Leading the pack are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will address over 10 rallies from November 7-14, and prominent leaders like Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President J.P. Nadda.
The campaign lineup includes Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Several chief ministers from other states will also join the Maharashtra campaign trail, including Goa CM Pramod Sawant, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav, Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Other notable campaigners include Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Piyush Goyal, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and BJP joint-secretary Shiv Prakash. Maharashtra leaders in the list feature Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, state BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule, and former Chief Minister Narayan Rane. Also on the list are prominent figures such as Mumbai BJP chief Ashish Shelar, legislators Pankaja Munde and Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, and Union Minister Smriti Irani.
Additionally, several former ministers, state council members, and BJP allies, including Anil Gawande from Prahar Jan Shakti Party and Sai Dahake, have joined BJP’s campaign efforts.
