PM Modi Hails ‘Made In India’ Weaponry After Decisive Strikes In Op Sindoor

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday praised the Indian Armed Forces for their swift and decisive response to the Pahalgam terror attack.

He stated that Operation Sindoor not only dismantled terror infrastructure across the border but also showcased the strength of India’s indigenous defence capabilities.

“The forces took revenge in just 22 minutes,” PM Modi declared during a debate on Operation Sindoor, referring to the retaliatory strike launched in response to the April 22 massacre in Pahalgam, where terrorists killed innocent tourists after identifying them by their religion.

‘Made in India’ Missiles and Drones Prove Lethal

PM Modi highlighted the effectiveness of homegrown military technology, saying, “Made in India drones and missiles wreaked havoc in Pakistan.”

He emphasised that these indigenous systems played a crucial role in the precision strikes deep inside enemy territory.

He also highlighted the success of India’s push for Atmanirbharta (self-reliance) in defence, noting that technical advancements have enabled the military to plan and execute highly targeted operations with minimal collateral damage.

Pakistan’s Nuclear Threat Fails to Deter India

The Prime Minister revealed that Pakistan attempted to use nuclear blackmail to deter India’s response, but Indian forces stood firm and ‘brought them to their knees in just one day’.

He noted that the speed and scale of Operation Sindoor sent a strong message to both terrorists and their handlers.

“Today, they live in fear that Indian forces may come hunting for them,” he added, pointing to the lasting psychological impact of the operation on terror networks operating from Pakistani soil.

Describing the Pahalgam attack as ‘the worst form of terrorism’, PM Modi accused the perpetrators of attempting to provoke a communal divide by targeting people based on their religion.

“This was a coordinated plan to incite religious unrest, but the nation stood united,” he added.

India’s Message: Zero Tolerance for Terrorism

PM Modi recalled his strong warning issued shortly after the April 22 attack, “Terrorists and their masters will be buried in the soil, and they will face punishment beyond their imagination.”

He reiterated that the government had granted the Armed Forces full operational freedom, enabling them to strike swiftly and decisively.

Operation Sindoor, he said, was a demonstration of India’s resolve to respond to terrorism with unmatched force.
