PM Modi Greets MP CM Mohan Yadav On Birthday; Praises Leadership

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his heartfelt birthday greetings to Mohan Yadav, acknowledging his contributions to the growth and development of Madhya Pradesh.

Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Best wishes to the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav Ji on his birthday. He is at the forefront of many initiatives aimed at furthering all-round development of Madhya Pradesh. Praying for his long and healthy life.”

Mohan Yadav, born in 1965 in Ujjain, studied at Ujjain University. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree before completing further qualifications, including LLB, MA, MBA, and a PhD.

His political journey began during his student years through his involvement with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He later stepped into electoral politics in 2013 by contesting from the Ujjain South constituency in the state Assembly elections.

In his first electoral contest, Mohan Yadav emerged victorious by defeating Congress leader Jaysingh Darbar. He continued his winning streak in the 2018 Assembly elections. He secured another victory against Rajendra Vashishtha with a wider margin.

In 2020, Yadav became part of the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet led by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. During this period, he handled the Higher Education portfolio and remained in the role until 2023.

Following his win in the 2023 Assembly elections from Ujjain South, Yadav was chosen as the 19th Chief Minister of the state.

The decision was announced by the Bharatiya Janata Party on December 11, 2023, marking a major turning point in his political career.

The Prime Minister’s message reflects confidence in Yadav’s leadership as he continues to guide Madhya Pradesh towards sustained development. His tenure is expected to further strengthen governance and drive growth across key sectors.
