Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended warm birthday wishes to Union Minister Bhupender Yadav, praising his dedication to environmental conservation and climate change mitigation.
The Prime Minister took to the social media platform to commend Yadav’s unwavering commitment to sustainable development.
Taking to X, PM Modi posted, Birthday greetings to Union Minister Shri Bhupender Yadav Ji. He is working extensively towards boosting sustainable development and strengthening our fight against climate change. His passion towards environmental protection is commendable. Praying for his long and healthy life.”
Born on 30 June 1969 in Ajmer, Rajasthan, Bhupender Yadav has been a prominent figure in Indian politics for over two decades.
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he secured a decisive victory in Alwar, Rajasthan, defeating Congress candidate Lalit Yadav by more than 48,000 votes—his maiden contest in the Lok Sabha polls.
Before this, Yadav served as a Rajya Sabha member from Rajasthan since 2012 and was re-elected in 2018.
In the third term of the PM Modi government, sworn in on 11 June 2024, he once again took charge as the Minister of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, continuing from his earlier role in the previous government.
Responding to the Prime Minister’s greetings, Yadav expressed his gratitude in a heartfelt reply, posting, “Adarniya PM Shri @narendramodi ji, your blessings and guidance are a source of constant strength and motivation for me. Your relentless efforts towards climate action both nationally and internationally inspire all of us to continue striving to build a sustainable planet. I convey my heartfelt gratitude for your wishes”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his best wishes to Yadav, recognising his vital role in India’s green mission.
“Warm birthday greetings to Shri @byadavbjp Ji. Your zeal for environmental conservation and climate action greatly contributes to PM Modi Ji’s mission for a clean and green planet. Praying for your good health and long life.,” HM Shah posted on X.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma echoed similar sentiments, posting, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Honourable Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav ji! I pray to God for your excellent health, long life, and a successful journey.”
As Bhupender Yadav celebrates another year, his leadership in environmental matters continues to be pivotal to India’s ecological goals.
With strong backing from the Prime Minister and senior ministers, Yadav’s role in shaping a sustainable future for the nation remains both vital and widely appreciated.
