PM Modi Encourages Youth To Make The Most Of Summer Holidays

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media on Tuesday to extend his best wishes to young people for the summer holidays, encouraging them to use the time for enjoyment, learning, and personal growth.

Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Wishing all my young friends a wonderful experience and a happy holidays. As I said in last Sunday’s #MannKiBaat, the summer holidays provide a great opportunity to enjoy, learn and grow. Such efforts are great in this endeavour.”

Tejasvi Surya’s Summer Camp Initiative

The Prime Minister’s message came in response to Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya’s announcement of a week-long summer camp for children, aimed at offering a range of activities designed to help children develop new skills.

Tejasvi Surya, in his own post on X, shared details of the camp, stating, “We’ve kickstarted a week-long Bengaluru South Summer Camp for children aged between 8-14 years in 10 centres across the constituency.”

“With sessions in yoga & meditation, Gita recitation, dance fitness, self defence & drawing, about 2,500 young minds are picking up an additional skill during these holidays through these activities. This is in line with PM Shri @NarendraModi Ji’s #MannKiBaat message yesterday, where he nudged children to mix fun and learning this summer,” he further added.

Surya also shared moments from his visit to the camp, interacting with the participants.

On Sunday, during the 120th episode of his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme, PM Modi introduced the ‘MY-Bharat’ calendar, which aims to make summer vacations both productive and creative.

The calendar includes activities like study tours to explore the operations of ‘Jan Aushadhi Kendras’, immersive experiences in border villages, and more.

PM Modi also encouraged children and their families to share their summer holiday experiences using the hashtag #HolidayMemories, inviting them to reflect on the activities that make their vacations enjoyable and meaningful.
