Jabalpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Madhya Pradesh for the third time in 11 days, this time on the occasion of the 500th birth anniversary of Rani Durgavati, where he inaugurated the ‘Veerangana Rani Durgavati Memorial and Garden’ and announced development projects worth more than ₹12,600 crores. During this visit, he said that Jabalpur is filled with enthusiasm and Mars (referring to the Mars Orbiter Mission) in terms of skill. PM Modi mentioned that this enthusiasm reflects what is in the minds of the people of Madhya Pradesh.
In his speech, Prime Minister Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, stating that while the whole world is praising India, those political parties whose only interest is the chair are resorting to abuses. He also criticized them for mocking the celebrations of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. He assured that he won’t let the poor be looted and won’t allow Congress leaders to fill their treasuries.
He highlighted the use of technology in identifying and removing 11 crore fake names from government documents, preventing corruption worth lakhs of crores of rupees. PM Modi emphasized that today, the money meant for the poor is being used for their welfare.
PM Modi guaranteed that Madhya Pradesh would continue its path of development, with no obstacles, and appealed to the people to re-elect the BJP government for another 5 years to ensure that development keeps progressing.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also praised PM Modi in the program, stating that under his leadership, the BJP government has given due respect to tribal leaders. He highlighted the progress made in Madhya Pradesh, including increased per capita income, road infrastructure, electricity generation, and irrigation capacity.
PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects in various sectors, including roads, railways, gas pipelines, housing, and clean drinking water, amounting to more than ₹12,600 crores. He also laid the foundation stone for the Veerangana Rani Durgavati Memorial and Garden, a project worth ₹100 crores.
